Building civic engagement and knowledge is not only for adults.
The Whistler Local Government Awareness Series are a set of educational activities and information sheets to be deployed by teachers in a classroom setting. These activities can help educators teach and host activities for students which:
- build civic knowledge of all layers of government in Canada,
- encourage participation in local government, and
- increase electoral knowledge.
