Current Status:
The existing truck scale operating at the Waste Transfer Station (Callaghan Road) has reached its end of life. To improve the functionality of the scale plaza, the existing scale will be replaced and a new scale will be constructed to ensure operational redundancy and to improve traffic flow through the facility.
Timeline:
Construction is to start February 2024 and the work is expected to be completed by July 2024.
Construction Impact:
The Waste Transfer Station is not anticipated to be impacted by this project, although minor delays may occur. Waste Transfer Station hours of operation will not be changing.
