On June 9, 2024, at around 3 p.m., a bear accessed a home through an open window in the Creekside neighbourhood. No one was home at the time. The bear obtained food rewards and attempted access again, while a neighbour attempted to haze it away. The COS is reminding people to secure all ground level windows and doors to prevent bears from entering your home.
Please keep ground level windows and doors secured so that a bear cannot enter.
