Recommendation #4: RMOW and WHA to Build More Employee Restricted Inventory

  • The Municipality is working with it’s wholly owned subsidiaries the Whistler Housing Authority (WHA) & Whistler Development Corporation (WDC), investing over $80 million in new employee rental housing

Four of the newly occupied developments and projects in progress listed below represent an over 50 per cent increase in WHA rentals. There are also plans to expand the Cheakamus Crossing neighbourhood (Parcel A) which will add further inventory to both rental and ownership housing.
